Hand painted & Tie-dyed cotton Men's Tee
This scenery hand painted on a Gildan cotton tee is one that dads can relate to. This is called "Father of the Pride" because it reflects what it is like to be a dad with his hands full. Inspired by nature, it depicts a father tiger being cornered by his eldest attention seeking cub while chastising his other two cubs who are settling their differences off in the distance
The process entailed dyeing the shirts with denim blue dye in a gradual fade. The scenery was then laid out with a series of my own handmade stencils and then hand painted with yellow, aqua, cobalt blue, baby blue, pink, and titanium white acrylic paints. Overall, it was 8.5 hour labor of love but well worth it. This 100% cotton hand painted one-of-a-kind tee shirt effortlessly pairs with any pair of denims. This shirt is a size M but if you wish to have one in a different size, I accept requests. So...what kind of dad are you?
Care Instructions: Hand wash or wash in gentle cycle in cold water, with salt if possible. Do not use harsh detergents or bleach. Wash separately or with like colors. Hang or lay flat to dry. Set iron to cotton setting taking care to avoid the painted portions. Please note that the addition of extreme heat will cause the paint colors to darken and eventually crack. However, with proper care this shirt will last for years.
